Appearance Center

The Appearance Center is designed to provide a place where women, who are dealing with the side effects of cancer treatment, may come to obtain a wig or head covering (turban, scarf, or hat). The staff of the Springfield Regional Cancer Center, through fund raising efforts and donations, is able to provide wigs to our patients regardless of the patient’s ability to pay. The wigs provided, if donated, are cleaned according to industry standards prior to display.

For a wider variety of selections, the Springfield Regional Cancer Center has made arrangements with a local vendor to provide such services by appointment. Arrangements can be made to meet in the mornings every other Wednesday to assist with selections and fittings.

The Appearance Center is located between the lobby and the resource library. Items that are available can be viewed during normal business hours. During a visit, please ask the receptionist at the front desk for assistance.
