Mark Wiener, President and CEO |
Mark Wiener came to CMHP from Progressive Health Systems and Pekin Hospital, located near Peoria, Illinois. He served as Chief Executive Officer at Pekin Hospital, a 125-bed medical center with approximately 200 physicians.
Mark earned a bachelor’s degree in Biology with a Business Administration minor at Wagner College in Staten Island, New York, and a master’s degree in Health Administration from the Washington University School of Medicine Graduate Program in Health Administration and Planning in St. Louis, Missouri.

Gary A. Hagens, Chief Operating Officer and VP of Medical Affairs. |
Dr. Hagens joined CMHP from Advocate BroMenn Healthcare, Normal, Ill., where he was the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Medical Management. He was responsible for both Advocate BroMenn Medical Center and Advocate Eureka Hospital. He was with BroMenn Healthcare for approximately six years during which time he had a wealth of experience including serving in a dual capacity as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Medical Officer.
Prior to BroMenn merging with Advocate, he served as System Chief Operating Officer and Chief Medical Officer for BroMenn Healthcare System. His clinical training is in Maxillofacial Surgery and he has a Master of Business Administration as well.

John Dempsey, Vice President, Chief Financial Officer |
John Dempsey came to CMHP from Mercy Health Partners – Kentucky Region in Paducah, where he served as Senior Vice President/CFO.
John received his Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Bloomsburg State University, Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, and his Master’s degree in Finance from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo. He earned his Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Fellowship in 1993 and was a previous board member and officer of the HFMA West Michigan and Arizona Chapters.

Terry Boys, Vice President, Patient Care Services, Chief Nursing Officer |
Terry joined CMHP in April 2009. Before coming to Springfield, she served as Vice President of Patient Care Services/Chief Nursing Officer for Mercy Hospital Anderson which is part of CHP’s Southwest Ohio region. Terry has been with CHP since 1993. From 1993-2006, she served as Mercy Anderson's Director of Clinical Services and Regional Oncology Domain Expert. Terry has also worked in nursing for University Hospital in Cincinnati.
Terry earned her master’s degree in Nursing Administration from Northern Kentucky University, a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Xavier University, and an associate’s degree in nursing from Eastern Kentucky University.

Ron Connovich, Vice President, Facilities and Support Services |
Ron came CMHP in August 2009 from St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima, Ohio, where he served as the Regional Director of Facilities and Support Services. During Ron’s tenure with St. Rita’s he facilitated the successful completion of the medical center’s expansion project.
Ron has a wealth of experience in healthcare leadership and facilities management. He obtained his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Hawaii and holds an M.B.A. from Chaminade University (Hawaii).

Katrina English, Vice President, General Counsel Legal Services |
Katrina joined CMHP in December 2008. She came to CMHP from OhioHealth Corporation in Columbus, Ohio, where she served as Assistant General Counsel and Managing Senior Attorney.
Katrina graduated cum laude from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Arts in telecommunications and received her Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University College of Law. She was named one of Columbus’ Top Lawyers in healthcare in 2004 and 2005, and was selected by Cincinnati Magazine in 2007 and 2008 as a Super Lawyer in healthcare.
