The digital x-ray equipment at the Springfield Regional Imaging Center allows for sharper, cleaner images that are available for interpretation by a radiologist in the shortest time period possible.
Digital x-ray offers the patient shorter wait times by allowing the technologist to view images within seconds of taking the picture. Digital x-ray units also offer greater maniuplation of images which allow less repeat radiation exposure to the patient.
