Visitor Information

Guidelines for Patients and Visitors Community Mercy Health Partners promotes and supports a patient- and family-centered approach to care. CMHP encourages both visitors and primary supports for our patients. Primary supports are encouraged to be involved and supportive of the patient and integral to the patient’s healing process. Primary supports are permitted to have greater access to the patient than a visitor but are asked to be flexible and respond to the changing needs of the patient.
  • Hours for visitors are 8 a.m. – 9 p.m. There are no age limitations but children younger than 16 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult who is not a patient.
  • A primary support is named by the patient and someone who provides support both physically and emotionally to the patient. The primary support does not have to be a relative.
  • Primary supports can come to the hospital at any time at the discretion of the patient or the patient’s representative.
  • Visitors will be given a green arm band daily from the Front Desk or Nurses’ station to wear during their visit. Primary supports will be given a blue arm band at the Nurses’ station to be worn for the entire patient stay.
  • The staff at the Information Desk can assist you in locating a patient room. Appropriate dress, including shirts and shoes, are required.
  • SRMC is a tobacco-free campus. Smoking and other tobacco use are prohibited within SRMC and on SRMC grounds.
  • If you are sick or have been exposed to a communicable disease, please do not come to the hospital to visit.
  • Please ask any staff member if you have questions about visiting.
